Kelly Hoben

Kelly was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where she earned a BA in English, a BA in Art Education, and an MA in Art Education at The Ohio State University. She taught high school painting, drawing and art history for 6 years before relocating to Prague, Czech Republic in 2010. At that time, she started her business as a freelance editor and proofreader. Kelly taught academic writing to art and design students at Prague City University for 11 years where she also acted as program leader of BA (Honor's) Fine Art Experimental Media for 4 years.

She enjoys supporting all kinds of educators with learning design consultations and building structures to get creative ideas off the ground. Most of all, Kelly loves the meaningful work of writing grants on behalf of the socially conscious nonprofits with CLCC.

When Kelly is not absorbed in a book or a creative project, Kelly can be found hiking in her local woods, traveling around Europe, or relaxing with friends in one of Prague's beautiful beer gardens.
